Web25 dec. 2024 · So, I had a relative who works with phone connections fix the ends for me. He changed the plastic parts for new ones. It fixed my unstable ping but the cable STILL doesnt work when I try to plug it directly to my PC, laptop or WAN port in my new router. Web7 mrt. 2024 · A couple things you can try. 1. swap cables or try a different device. maybe its not the extender. 2. re-install the firmware. a reset only removes settings. if the firmware was corrupt for some reason, a reset doesn't overwrite it. 3. downgrade the firmware. 4. open a support case if you're still within warranty. maybe the ports bad.
