A window came up showing the apps that either needed to by synced or were syncing. Once all that was done, when I clicked on my file explorer icon, went to folder with pdfs and they had either clouds or sync symbols. WebI had the grey X on the bottom left corner and the only issue was in my settings, I had the option Checked that said something to the effect of "Download files as needed." As I unchecked it, the folder reloaded and started to download the images from One Drive and show the full thumbnail previews.

The Network drive never gets a red X and disconnects as you can see all files and folder structure but the files are greyed out with an X.
